2nd Grade students have worked very hard on the eTwinning project. They have learned about the most endangered animals around the world. Good job guys!!!
Each school involved in the 'Endangered animals around the world' project has been given the task of creating an 'eTwinning corner' to inform their pupils, staff and visitors about the aims of the project.

‘ENDANGERED ANIMALS AROUND THE WORD’

Ø Short description
This project aims to deepen students’ knowledge about some species of animals that are in extreme danger of extinction, their characteristics, habitat, and their survival strategies. Throughout the project students will look for information on the selected animals. They will learn about them and prepare interesting presentations to share with their eTwinning partners. They will post their presentations on the blog and will connect via videoconferencing to share information and experiences. Finally, they will make some art projects and a final exhibition.

Ø Expected results
This project is a good opportunity for our students to improve their English, to share new experiences, to know more about endangered animals.... They will learn about other countries and cultures as well. The project will provide all pupils from the participating schools with enhanced educational opportunities. All children and staff will be able to communicate with each other and share educational and cultural experiences. They will learn about and value both their own culture and that of the European partners. The staff and pupils will also develop their information and communication technology skills through this project. Email and Padlet will be used throughout the project by all partners and presentations will be created using ICT. Students will improve their artistic skills and competences by making art projects about endangered animals around the world. The partners are already working as a cohesive group.
